The Role
Own regional pricing and revenue performance for furnished apartments. Set rates, minimum stays, monthly pricing, booking-channel strategy, and promotions based on competition, seasonality, and local events. Forecast market pace, improve underperforming units, and explain pricing decisions to general managers and property partners. The role requires strong quantitative judgment, spreadsheet modeling, agency, and comfort making decisions with incomplete data. It is based daily at Landing’s Birmingham headquarters and includes relocation support.

About Landing:

Landing is a nationwide hospitality platform where fully furnished apartments meet hotel quality and consistency. Guests book from thousands of apartments in hundreds of cities, for a week or a year, all backed by 24/7 local support. That mix of markets and stay lengths is what makes pricing here so interesting.

Who We Work With:

Our partners are apartment owners and property operators who trust us to fill their units and grow their revenue. Our local General Managers run each market day to day. You'll work closely with both, and they'll look to you to explain why prices are where they are and what's changing.

About the Role:

As a Pricing Strategy Associate, you'll set the prices for a region of Landing's portfolio and own the results. You'll have a set of markets and apartments, and you'll decide where rates go, how long stays should be, which booking channels to lean on, and when to run promotions. Your scorecard is RevPAR, which is revenue per available unit, the main number hospitality companies use to measure pricing.

You don't need a revenue management background. We'll teach you the hospitality side. What you need is a sharp mind for numbers and the instinct to turn them into decisions.

Why This Role:

  • You make the call. In a lot of analyst jobs, you build the model, and someone else decides. Here the decision is yours, and it goes live.
  • You own a whole region early in your career, with real results tied to your name.
  • You pick up a new skill set. Revenue management is a real career path across hospitality and travel, and you'll learn it by doing it.
  • Your work gets seen. Pricing results are shared across the company, so strong performance doesn't go unnoticed.
  • Your paycheck goes further. Birmingham's cost of living is well below cities like Atlanta, Chicago, and DC, and we help you make the move with up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement.

What You'll Own:

  • Regional revenue: Prices and occupancy for your markets against plan.
  • Pricing: Rate decisions for your markets based on competing properties nearby, seasonality, and local events.
  • Length of stay: The right mix of short and long stays in each market, including minimum stay rules, extension pricing, and monthly rates.
  • Channels: How your apartments show up on our own site versus booking sites like Airbnb and Booking.com, keeping prices consistent, and which promotions to join.
  • Underperforming units: Find apartments that are falling behind, figure out why (price, photos, location, or the apartment itself), and work with the local GM and supply team to fix them.
  • Forecast and pace: Each week, call where your region is heading, decide what needs to change, and make the change.
  • Partner questions: Explain pricing decisions to GMs and property partners in plain language.

What We're Looking For:

This role is about making decisions with numbers. If most of your experience is building dashboards or reports for others, this probably isn't the right fit.

  • One to three years in a numbers heavy role where your analysis led to real decisions. That could be investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate strategy, pricing or strategy roles at a marketplace or tech company, insurance pricing, or revenue management.
  • You've set prices, valuations, bids, or targets yourself and owned the result, not just built the analysis someone else used to set them.
  • Agency. This is the trait we screen for hardest. You can take an unclear problem with incomplete data, reach a decision quickly, and act on it.
  • Comfort being measured. Your results will be visible across the company, and you like it that way.
  • Strong spreadsheet and modeling skills. You can tell when a number looks wrong and figure out why.
  • AI fluency. You use tools like Claude every day, or you're eager to start.
  • Curiosity about pricing and hospitality. You don't need to know revenue management yet, but you're excited to learn it.
  • Ready to relocate to Birmingham and work from our HQ every day alongside the pricing team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $80,000 base salary
  • About $110,000 total OTE at target
  • Up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement to Birmingham
  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Disability, Mental Health, Pet, Commuter, and FSA or HSA
  • 401(k) plan and access to ImmediatePay
  • Generous PTO
  • $750 annually in Landing Stays
  • Room to grow. This team is being built and we promote from within.

Skills Required

  • One to three years of experience in a numbers-heavy role where analysis led to real decisions
  • Experience setting prices, valuations, bids, or targets and owning the results
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and act on unclear problems with incomplete data
  • Comfort being measured by visible business results
  • Strong spreadsheet and financial modeling skills
  • AI fluency, including daily use of tools such as Claude, or willingness to learn
  • Curiosity about pricing and hospitality and willingness to learn revenue management
  • Willingness to relocate to Birmingham and work daily from company headquarters
