This Position reports to:
Manager - Advanced Analytics and AIThe Pricing Process Specialist will own and manage end‑to‑end transactional processes for updating and maintaining transfer prices on internal EL pricing tools. The role combines strong process ownership, operational excellence, and automation capability (RPA / Agentic AI) with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accuracy, compliance, scalability, and efficiency of transfer pricing operations.
- Act as the process owner for transfer price updates, extensions, and maintenance across internal EL pricing and ERP tools (e.g., price lists, intercompany pricing structures, extensions for LSUs/factories).
- Manage high-volume, rule-based and exception-based pricing transactions with strong attention to detail and auditability.Ensure adherence to pricing governance, transfer pricing guidelines, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with Division Pricing managers, controllers and material master teams across geographies to resolve complex or non-standard cases. Maintain complete documentation, traceability, and case records for all processed requests.
- Own the cost validation process supporting margin integrity. Analyze cost fluctuations and variances, with specific focus on high-fluctuation and margin- impacting products.
- Work closely with Plant Controllers, Factory Finance, and Controlling teams to: o Understand the root cause of cost variances (material, labor, overhead, engineering changes, production process changes, routing, sourcing, etc.)
- Distinguish between structural vs. temporary cost movements
- Identify systemic process issues (master data gaps, timing issues, incorrect assumptions, manual interventions) that lead to repeated cost volatility.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce recurring cost variances and improve cost predictability. Ensure cost changes are explainable, documented, and traceable, supporting pricing, audit, and governance needs.
- 5 to 10 years of prior experience in pricing processes/business processes optimization
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process management and internal controls.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Macros C VBA and advanced PowerPoint skills
- Experience or working knowledge of RPA tools (e.g., Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and/or agentic AI / intelligent automation concepts.
- Ability to work with ERP and pricing tools, structured data, and business rules.
- Good documentation skills (process maps, SOPs, business requirements).Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex business scenarios.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones. Engineering, Finance or MBA background would be preferred
