Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Operations Manager to lead pricing strategy and execution for Samsung's Mobile eXperience (MX) division. This role will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to strengthen price competitiveness, support market share growth, and drive sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial and financial acumen with advanced analytical capabilities and a proven ability to translate data into clear pricing decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Job Responsabilities

  • Develop and implement pricing models that support product lifecycle management, promotional planning, and margin optimization.
  • Conduct price sensitivity and elasticity analyses to recommend strategic pricing actions.
  • Define mid- and long-term pricing strategies based on product positioning, competitor performance, and profitability outlook.
  • Lead day-to-day pricing operations, ensuring timely price updates, promotional tracking, and margin analysis.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, market performance, and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate pricing scenarios by account and product using competitor expectations and prospective P&L analysis.
  • Oversee MX Cores and pricing datasets, ensuring data integrity, governance, and reliability.
  • Analyze monthly pricing impacts, update average costs and balance quantities, and control budget investments and reversals.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Finance on pricing strategies for launches and portfolio adjustments.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end investment campaign process and support Sales and Channel teams with quarterly investment planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, finance, revenue management, or commercial operations, ideally in consumer electronics, technology, retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data modeling, with experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of margin drivers, price elasticity, profitability, and price positioning strategies.
  • Strategic and structured problem-solving skills, with a strong results orientation and ability to translate analysis into business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AI tools and strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of revenue management techniques and dynamic pricing models.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
