About the Role
The Manager, Pricing is responsible for leading day to day pricing execution, using proactive analysis and process improvements to increase profit margins and go above and beyond expectations.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Provide pricing support to the operations team, sales and management
- Prioritize and assign pricing, pricing maintenance and accounting audit tasks and needs daily
- Recommend optimal routing and transit time needs per requirements
- Review rates and profit margins on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Exercise judgment to evaluate market conditions to ensure competitive pricing
- Define priority based on cost, service and volume requirements
- Formulate and apply analytical tools and other optimization methods to develop and interpret information for decision making
- Create pricing process improvements across teams
- Build and maintain rates in the system
- Lead response to daily pricing requests – changes, corrections and adjustments
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Prior experience in logistics and transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of providing decision support using sophisticated analysis or decision support tools
- Strong project management skills

Illinois: The target base salary for this position is between $102,000-125,000
