JOB PURPOSE:

Drive profitable growth by ensuring discounts and commercial pricing decisions are applied strategically and consistently across the sales organization. The role safeguards margin by controlling price leakage, governing discount investments, and providing analytical support for customer negotiations and pricing decisions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute pricing and discount strategies in close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product & Solutions, and pricing teams to support profitable growth.
  • Apply pricing guidelines, discount guardrails, approval frameworks, and pricing tools to ensure consistent execution of pricing policies.
  • Monitor discount practices, track compliance with pricing policies, and evaluate the commercial impact and returns of discount investments.
  • Identify and analyse price leakages caused by excessive discounting, inconsistent terms, and price agreements, and recommend corrective actions to improve price realization and margin performance.
  • Perform pricing analysis, price planning, scenario modelling to support pricing decisions and commercial strategies.
  • Prepare customer-specific price and profitability simulations to support negotiations, business and commercial deals, tenders, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and local Sales teams to strengthen pricing discipline, improve negotiation effectiveness, and support pricing-related business decisions.
  • Support commercial teams in applying pricing policies consistently across customer segments, markets, and product families.
  • Execute and continuously improve price planning and pricing governance processes, including implementation of pricing strategies for new products, price changes, and discount policies.
  • Deliver actionable analyses, business cases, and recommendations to Sales teams and other stakeholders.
  • Consolidate and communicate market feedback on pricing performance to Pricing leaders.
  • Participate in global pricing projects, pricing tool enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform hands-on pricing analysis and price planning for the assigned Cluster.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of pricing, discount structures, and profitability drivers.
  • Ability to challenge commercial decisions constructively and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High degree of independence with strong networking and collaboration skills, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, virtual matrix organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and pricing systems.
  • Fluent English
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in pricing, revenue management or commercial finance
  • Experience working closely with sales organizations in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in discount governance and pricing analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
