Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Lead, coach and develop Senior Pricing Analysts and Pricing Analysts, setting clear goals and providing regular performance and development conversations.
- Balance workloads and capacity to provide appropriate coverage and team resilience.
- Deploy and monitor KPIs covering the speed and quality of pricing and quoting.
- Drive improvements to sales yield, win/capture rates, pricing accuracy and team productivity.
- Support standardisation and automation of tariffs and pricing activity.
- Work across Sales, Finance and Costing to identify root causes of customer invoicing delays and support improvements.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls across pricing processes.
- Exercise appropriate commercial judgement when approving high-value or bespoke shipment pricing.
- Develop, maintain and review customer-specific tariffs and rate cards.
- Analyse pricing systems, tariffs and individual consignments to identify actions that could strengthen profitability.
- Identify unusually high rates or cost-sensitive lanes and work with the relevant teams to address them.
- Support global RFQ/RFI responses, global rate cards, client price breakdowns and pricing-related software integrations.

Work Structure:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
- Fully onsite at our Shanghai Office.
What you'll bring:
- Experience working in Pricing, Sales, Commercial, Procurement or another environment where you have supported commercial decision-making.
- Experience leading or supervising people, including setting expectations, allocating work, providing feedback and supporting development.
- Confidence working with detailed spreadsheets to analyse information and turn it into useful commercial insight.
- Practical Microsoft Excel capability, including standard formulae, pivot tables, graphs and data presentation.
- Commercial awareness, including the ability to recognise trends, cost-saving opportunities and factors affecting profitability.
- Evidence of building productive relationships with customers, suppliers and/or internal stakeholders.
- The ability to organise competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering to deadlines.
- Clear communication, collaborative working and evidence-based problem solving.
- Experience with tariffs, rate cards, RFQs/RFIs, bespoke pricing or comparable commercial pricing mechanisms alongside exposure to process standardisation or automation is desirable but not essential.
