1. Purpose of the internship:
As a Pricing Intern, you will work closely with the Pricing Manager to drive best practices in pricing strategies within Fedrigoni Special Papers BU. You will collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Sales teams to safeguard profit margins, optimize pricing decisions, and contribute to strategic commercial initiatives.
2. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in pricing strategy development, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze pricing performance and provide recommendations to optimize margins.
- Prepare reports on pricing and margin trends across countries, customers, and products, supporting top management decision-making.
- Ensure accurate pricing for new and bespoke products, factoring in market competitiveness and perceived value.
- Support Global Account Managers with international pricing strategies.
- Contribute to key transformational projects aimed at improving commercial policies and value generation.
- Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and methodologies, ensuring smooth implementation across the organization.
This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to develop analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen in a dynamic and global pricing environment.
3. Who we are looking for:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
- An analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly and concisely.
- Fluency in Italian and English (both spoken and written).
