Job Description

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Pricing and Value, you’ll play a key role in shaping the pricing insights and strategies that support sustainable growth, strong customer outcomes and sound risk management. Working at the intersection of data, analytics and commercial decision-making, you’ll help influence outcomes across the business while driving continuous improvement in how we understand and respond to changing customer needs. In this role you will:

  • Deliver pricing insights and recommendations that drive sustainable growth and customer value.
  • Develop and enhance actuarial models to support pricing strategy and commercial decision-making.
  • Analyse complex business and customer data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Drive automation and analytical improvements that strengthen pricing capability and efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to influence decisions and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Coach and share technical expertise to uplift team capability and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and support sound business decisions.
  • Use data, modelling and programming tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or R to generate actionable insights.
  • Translate technical analysis into clear commercial recommendations that deliver value for customers and the business.
  • Bring curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, exploring new ideas, technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders through effective communication and collaborative partnership.
  • Draw on actuarial or broader quantitative expertise in disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, economics or data science, with progress towards professional qualifications welcomed.
