More about the role
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the management of all pricing activities inside the Cooper Lighting Solutions business in addition to supporting the management of pricing systems and processes. The successful candidate will ensure cross-functional communication and will partner with product management, marketing, sales and key business partners to assist in the development of the price strategy and maximize profitability and top line growth.
Essential Responsibilities

Partner with product management to develop and execute segmented and differentiated pricing strategies, and effectively execute to support positive price realization

Partner with the sales team and CLS Agents to drive profitable incentive and commission-based programs

Work with marketing and sales to evaluate and provide recommendations on pricing actions. Utilize best practice price analytics to develop your recommendations.

Analyze the impacts due to material, freight inflation and tariffs. Develop countermeasures to minimize margin erosion.

Support price system update activities for SAP/Vistex, Flash, and eCommerce systems. Propose opportunities to simplify these pricing work streams and collaborate with pricing operations to execute.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree completed from an accredited university or college.

Minimum of 2 years of pricing, data analytics, data management, finance, or product management experience.

Experience with Microsoft Excel is a must – you’ll create ad hoc analyses and work with numerous datasets to analyze trends and present findings.

Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple product segments and geographies.

Fluent English is MANDATORY.
Desired

Understanding of and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques.

Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau (or a keen desire to learn!).

Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle.

Continuous improvement capabilities, with a desire to improve or create standard work.

Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.

Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills.

Demonstrated change management skills with the ability to influence across and up in the organization.
-
Professional Pricing Society – CPP certification.
