The Opportunity
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott's Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
The position of Pricing Analyst is within our Contracting and Pricing department located in Lake Forest, IL. This role will assist with meeting the division's strategic direction and tactical implementation of building and driving pricing governance to ensure that division goals are achieved. Will interface with customers, sales and other internal support functions to ensure consistency and understand their business needs and the impact of market conditions to the overall sales objective.
What You'll Do
- Primarily responsible for implementation, maintenance and renewal management of end-customer pricing through distribution;
- Support the sales force as it relates to distributor pricing inquiries;
- Conduct sales and internal training as it relates to distributor pricing;
- Responsible for system maintenance as it relates to distributor pricing;
- Collaborate with internal departments on new product launches and product reviews;
- Responsibility for analysis of current process and continued review for improvement;
- Perform analysis of distributor pricing data for purposes of reporting to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) Finance or Business
- 1-3 years of experience equivalent in finance, pricing or analyst role.
- financial acumen experience
- experience in Medical Device, Diagnostics sector or a highly regulated industry;
- experience with distributor based and capital-based business.
- knowledge of pricing strategies;
- understanding of the organization’s strategy and understand how day-to-day activities support this strategy;
- experience working with or in a sales environment;
- ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communications, good presentation skills;
- analytical capabilities and critical-thinking skills;
- experience with market knowledge and analytics;
- ability to travel;
- problem resolution skills.

The base pay for this position is
$57,300.00 – $114,700.00
