We are seeking a Price Change Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing change orders, price adjustments, and developing schedules of value to ensure accurate project cost tracking and billing. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to facilitate smooth pricing updates and financial coordination.
- Coordinate and process change orders and price modifications in alignment with project contracts.
- Develop and maintain Schedules of Value (SOV) to support accurate invoicing and cost tracking.
- Work closely with estimators, project managers, and finance teams to assess cost implications of pricing changes.
- Analyze project budgets and ensure pricing adjustments are aligned with contract terms and company policies.
- Negotiate and communicate pricing updates with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.
- Prepare and present financial reports detailing pricing changes and their impact on project budgets.
- Maintain compliance with financial and contractual requirements related to pricing and cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
- 1-3 years of experience in pricing, change order management, or cost analysis within construction, mill work, or architectural woodwork.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, contracts, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in estimating and financial software such as Excel, Bluebeam and industry-specific tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple pricing updates and change orders in a fast-paced environment.
