THE JOB:
The President of Entertainment positions MGM Resorts International as the world's premier destination for live entertainment, immersive experiences, and cultural storytelling by leading a unified Entertainment & Content strategy that drives global attention, revenue, and guest affinity across all properties. This senior leader provides oversight of MGM Resorts' venue utilization, show bookings, talent management and partner relationships. The President will also be responsible for building scalable, branded entertainment and content experiences that can extend across MGM Resorts' many destinations.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Provides strategic oversight to all entertainment business units domestically and internationally.
- Generates signature IP and content assets that reinforce brand leadership.
- Develops and executes Content strategy and original IP.
- Oversees venue utilization, show booking, talent management, and partner relationships.
- Establishes MGMRI’s Content Development team, setting the short- and long-term strategies to establish and execute operational priorities for the division.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for third-party partnerships to deliver experiences and content.
- Secures funding and establishes budgets, KPIs, and delivery timelines.
- Drives ideation sessions with diverse teams of MGM Resorts’ stakeholders.
- Partners with MGMRI Centers of Excellence (COEs) on identifying, developing, and producing unique and compelling experience and content opportunities.
- Provides strategic leadership to the Entertainment, Content Development, Sports & Sponsorship, EventCo, Citywide Events, and Art & Culture divisions of MGMRI.
- Drives MGM Resorts International’s entertainment operations and business unit organization to achieve the company’s strategic and P&L objectives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's degree in international business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in traditional and emerging Entertainment / Content / Event / Experience / Events.
