Retail Concept is assigned to protect, expand, and develop the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in existing and new markets. This includes sharing IKEA knowledge and learning across the Franchise System. Additionally, we also work with the development of solutions that will ensure a unique and successful meeting with existing and new IKEA customers.
About the Job
You will be a part of Present The Offer team, who is responsible to create a successful, consistent, and relevant experience of IKEA across all customer meetings, through the unique IKEA way to present the offer. We lead and enable commercial, relevant, and efficient retail solutions for all Franchisees. We secure the continuous development of ways to present the IKEA offer across all CMPs, emphasizing development in the digital channels. We also lead and develop required capabilities to secure excellent omni-channel range presentation. We lead, enable, and contribute to the development of a strong and relevant Franchise offer. We do this through connected frameworks including principles, guidelines, good examples, tools and enablers for business impact across IKEA.
Key Responsibilities as Present The Offer Leader:
- Enable a successful, consistent, and relevant experience of IKEA across all customer meetings, developed together with key stakeholders across the value chain in order to secure a constant relevant conceptual content and presenting the range in an omnichannel retail environment.
- Facilitate and lead the assignment of creation of retail solutions through the development assignment agreement with Ingka, contributing to IKEA Growth Plan. Co-ordinate the process and set ways of working to constantly improve the process, performance and quality of the deliverables. Contribute with goal settings, reviews and follow-ups.
- Safeguard the IKEA Brand and support business success through follow up on the performance and implementation of the IKEA concept. I ensure constant business improvement by capturing the learnings and initiating actions.
- Lead initiatives and assignments around Presenting the Offer and across organizations (including Franchisees) for the continuous development of the IKEA retail system and operating model to secure a commercial, profitable, and sustainable business model. (5+ years)
- Lead the development of how we present the offer in future retail environment, reflecting trends, shopping behaviors, consumer needs and utilizing relevant insights (both external and internal insights) for future success. (10+ years)
- Initiate and lead development of solution design within modular retail system, including guidelines, solutions and examples for how the IKEA offer is presented across all customer meeting points, using democratic design principles as guiding formula for exploration, development and deployment.
- Contribute to the creation of enablers to build competitive advantage through outstanding expertise in areas such as home furnishing, retail/shop design, interior design, range presentation, communication or merchandising solutions.

Senior leadership and managerial experience from different retail markets and global organizations.

Knowledge of working on a strategic level with acting on an operational/tactical level.

Motivation to collaborate and mediate across the organizations to support growth and development. Passion for inspiring and empowering co-workers within IKEA Retail, across global functions and retail countries, to contribute to a strong retail foundation.

Experience of facilitation, trainings, reviews and workshops, with coaching and mentoring capabilities.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Delft. You will report to the Present The Offer Manager.
