- Assist the student in understanding and following classroom routines and activities

- Facilitate positive peer interactions and social engagement
- Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher, and service providers (e.g., speech therapists)
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior as required
- Assist with transitions, self-care tasks, and classroom participation
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education, child development, or related field preferred
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or special education setting
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction and implement instructional strategies consistently
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the classroom for extended periods
- Ability to assist young children with transitions, communication, and daily activities
