How you’ll help us achieve it
Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal, with over 7 million users. And we’re still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people’s everyday lives.
As a Premium Cash Assistant, you will be our customers' and agents' first point of contact. Under the supervision of the Premium Cash Officer, you will manage the daily reconciliation of the transactions in our Premium Agency based in The Gambia.
In this role, you’ll;
- Help agents with liquidity needs (deposit and withdrawal).
- Support agent/client needs (Wave's offer, opening accounts, how the system works, the app, physical card, etc.).
- Maintaining daily reconciliation of premium points.
- Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system.
- Promptly request sufficient funds to ensure rebalance with agents/clients.
- Report discrepancies or challenges encountered to the Premium Cash Officer.
- Report fake bills to management

- Location: You'll work from our Kombo office.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work authorization in The Gambia is required.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation & liquidity management, cash handling, or delivery.
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Previous experience in front-office customer service or in the banking sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, banking, or a similar discipline.
