The Premium Audit Learning Facilitator is responsible for delivering training and ongoing support to audit team members, with a focus on materials related to auditing Workers Compensation and General Liability along with the various related systems the department uses to complete and process premium audits. This role involves conducting live training sessions, mentoring trainees and adapting instruction methods to meet diverse training needs while following applicable company procedures. Further, the role fosters a learning culture for new and existing auditors to support auditing standards as well as department processes related to systems used to conduct day-to-day operations. Training and development materials and guides are created and updated to augment professional development and knowledge of department procedures. This position upholds AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.


The expected salary range for this role is $50,000 - 65,000.

Responsibilities

· Design and implement training programs for various audit staff.

· Develop and maintain materials and education resources.

· Establish, share and update departmental procedures by monitoring and identifying any necessary updates.

· Share identified skill sets with various partners and business units.

· Support onboarding and initial training of new hire training classes.

· Teach various audit procedures related to standards defined by NCCI, independent state bureaus, and other applicable regulatory agencies.

· Utilize secure digital platforms and remote communication tools to record trainee data to identify and improve development programs.

· Provide ongoing education to the department based on identified needs and industry trends.

· Develop, utilize and score knowledge assessments related to training materials and topics.

· Communicate training and procedure updates to auditors and management.

· Make recommendations to increase the efficiency of audits, and related operational processes.

· Provides technical guidance, procedural guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

· Maintain accurate records of training and related materials used and convey results to applicable stakeholders including auditors, team members, managers and department leadership.

· Stays current with manual rules, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

· Performing cross functional support during peak periods as needed.

· Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

· Liaison between the quality and compliance units in premium audit for cohesion and cross training.

Qualifications

Required:

· Minimum 1 year experience in premium audit or related industry training role.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline OR equivalent experience.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent Excel skills are required.

· Strong, analytical, and critical, thinking skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Maintain professional decorum during interactive training sessions and with trainees.

· Must be willing to be recorded during training meetings for procedural or system based training for Premium Audit, and maintain confidentiality of information shared.


Preferred:

· Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred OR working towards APA certification

· 3 years of experience in premium audit or related industry training role.
