THE ROLE
The mission of Sotheby’s is to deliver the most compelling experiences filled with story-worthy moments of discovery and connection that deepen client relationships, bring the brand to life, drive word-of-mouth and increase lifetime value.
The Global Preferred Marketing Coordinator will support the Senior Brand and Preferred Manager with alignment and integration of Sotheby’s programming and content with the broader art world, particularly through institutional relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the main contact for museums and other Preferred partners in the UK, ensuring that core commitments are delivered, and benefits are redeemed.
- Maintain and update the database of Preferred partnership contacts and contracts.
- Provide an annual report on museum redemptions.
- Support the London brand team in building partner relationships with and assist in negotiating partner benefits.
- Coordinate the global Preferred events programme calendar, working closely with regional event teams.
- Plan and manage the content selection and calendar for the Preferred Newsletter, collaborating with the regional teams to align with partnership needs.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics (Open Rate, Click-through Rate and dwell time) for newsletter content to optimise the content calendar.
- Work with the regional Preferred executives and the content agency to keep editorial content up to date across website, magazine and other touchpoints.
- Build and manage the global calendar for Sotheby’s Talks, ensuring alignment of regional Talks and supporting the delivery of marketing assets for programme amplification.
- Assist in creating bespoke itineraries, annual brochures, collateral, and brand gifts.
- Support the team in organising cultural events for non-key territories, such as the Venice Biennale and travel programmes.
- Provide administrative support for developing the brand campaign strategy, planning, and executing brand initiatives.
- Assist Global Senior Brand & Preferred Manager in establishing a distinctive platform and profile for Sotheby’s.
- Support the team in budget management by inputting and tracking invoices.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree
- Passionate about art and luxury and knowledgeable about the larger market ecosystem
- Solutions-oriented with strong project management skills
- An unwavering attention to detail and uncompromising standards
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and as well as work independently
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment working on several different and variety of projects at one time to tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of Outlook, Work, PowerPoint presentation development and Excel
- Additional languages a plus
