With a mission to deliver best-in-class Finance technology capabilities as accelerators and enablers of growth, the Mars Corporate Finance Technology (FinTech) organization plays a critical role in delivering the Enterprise Digital Transformation agenda for Mars. The Predictive Analytics / AI Design Sr. Manager will lead a multi-dimensional team defining and deploying predictive models, evaluating their performance, and supporting implementation upgrades to improve accuracy. This leader will also be responsible for ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness in utilizing predictive models to derive insights and make informed forecasting decisions. The Predictive Analytics / AI Design SR. Manager will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering Fintech's Planning and Analytics strategies and further evolving our organization to stay at the forefront of delivering AI capabilities, emerging technologies, and insights.

This role is a leader in the FinTech organization, reporting directly to the Planning & Forecasting Lead within the Finance organization. The role will partner closely with their peers in the team who support our SAP S4/Hana, our current state financial planning and forecasting applications, reporting and analytics tools. We co-deliver these FinTech capabilities with the Mars Digital Technologies organization ensuring full integration with the broader technology strategies across the organization.

Partnering with colleagues in the Corporate and Segment Controllership and FP&A communities will be critical to ensure full Integration of the business, technology and data strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. MS/MBA Is preferred
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a similar data modelling / analytics role, preferably within a corporate finance setting
  • Strong background in predictive analytics and AI
  • Proficiency in of data analytics and predictive forecasting tools and techniques
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and databases
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in leading and managing a team of data scientists or architects
  • Transformation leadership - demonstrated ability to shape strategies & lead a multi-year technology centric transformation agenda
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of an organization

What will be your key responsibilities?

Responsibilities for the Predictive Analytics / AI Challenger Lead include, but are not limited to:

  • Operationalizing the strategic vision of the Mars Fintech organization by implementing cutting edge predictive analytics capabilities, and adopting AI best practices to provide enhanced decision support
  • Leading the development and implementation of predictive capabilities and AI solutions to support strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into analytical projects.
  • Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of predictive models and ensuring that they are robust, scalable, and able to deliver insightful analytics.
  • Driving analysis of model performance and adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Providing guidance for navigating the implications of AI and predictive models to transformation projects
  • Overseeing the training of end-users on how to interpret and use the predictive analytics and AI models.
  • Further developing and mentoring a team of highly skilled, ambitious professionals, positioning the group to have further impact and influence as highly capable innovators of data analytics platforms.
  • Driving continuous learning and innovation to build world-class predictive analytics capabilities, leveraging market-leading technology, and supporting financial strategies that differentiate Mars and enable growth.
