The Team:
The position of Pre-Sales Consultant – Process Orchestration & Automation (Process Orchestration Solution Specialist) is part of our Value Engineering organisation. Our Value Engineering organization has full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of our customers – landing, expanding, adopting and renewing. Responsibilities include translating customers’ objectives into value assessments or proof-of-value projects, building specific Celonis business cases and demos, running value workshops, and engaging with multiple senior stakeholders to deliver value-driven results and secure long-term partnership agreements.
The Role:
As a Process Orchestration Solution Specialist at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in the build-up and growth of our Process Orchestration and Automation offering. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospects and customers to drive understanding in the value of Process Orchestration Solutions. You will architect, test and build Process Orchestration solutions that drive high customer value and use your expertise to support GTM teams to communicate the power of Process Orchestration and to scale Process Orchestration knowledge across Celonis. Finally, you will connect the power of Process Orchestraiton to Process Intelligence to help cement Orchestraiton as a key Celonis capability.
The role involves a blend of process expertise, strategic thinking, sales acumen and effective stakeholder communication to ensure successful build-up and growth of the Process Orchestration offering. Preferred candidates will have experience in scaling go-to-market roles in technology companies.
The work you’ll do:
Evangelize the importance of Process Orchestration with prospects, customers and at Celonis to ensure that Process Orchestration is successfully embedded into their processes. To do this you will execute, and support, the following:
Identify, Frame, and Realize Value
- Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact process orchestration use cases
- Build demos and business cases, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices, to communicate the value to Customers across Value Assessments/POVs, Hackathons, and Executive Readouts
- Facilitate successful delivery and present the results and future roadmap of Orchestration to Senior Management and C-level executives
Scale Value
- Develop a library of orchestration use cases across the Process Intelligence journey through collaboration with Value Engineering and as a sparring partner for customers
- Build a strategic expansion and adoption roadmap for customers embedding Celonis Process Intelligence and Orchestration as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases and opportunities in process orchestration, including designing scalable assets to support the growth of Process Orchestration
Build Trust in Orchestration
- Create success stories highlighting the value of Process Orchestrations
- Run roadshows, enablement sessions, and support building collateral to enable the GTM organization on how to identify and qualify process orchestration opportunities to grab the market opportunity
- Support Industry sectors and Functional leads (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance…) to integrate Process Orchestration into their language and sales plays
The qualifications you need:
- Experience and Expertise: Strong experience as a successful Pre-Sales Engineer OR a customer-facing Professional Services/Consulting. Extensive experience in Process Orchestration and Automation. A professional network in this area is a plus.
- Process Improvement & Value Realization: Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of business process intelligence and automation solutions and their application in optimizing business processes. Familiarity with other Orchestration tools, Business Process Management Platforms, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platforms and related technologies is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present solutions, and conduct training sessions. Confident presentation skills to represent Celonis’ products in front of customers and at field events such as conferences, summits, seminars, etc.
- Analytical Thinking: Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex processes across various systems to identify potential orchestration use cases, derive solution designs and implement effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and stay updated on industry trends. Proactive in learning and implementing new technologies.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team, sharing insights and knowledge for the overall success of Celonis’ Orchestration team and the organization.
- Degree: In Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a comparable degree program
