Pre Flight Design and Production Specialist

The purpose of this role is to help on the front end of the workflow to help with design and order setup based on customer specifications.  This role would require some experience in design platforms, such as In-Design. 

The other part of this role is to help downstream in the workflow to ensure that tasks are completed correctly as part of the customers order.  This may include pre-flight and basic production roles.  It may also include delivering final products to customers as a part of the customer experience.  To help a customer on the front end of the workflow setting up their designs and being able to delivery the order in person to ensure they are pleased with their products can produce a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Do basic order design and set up based on customer specifications
• Setup files quickly and accurately to insure productive workflow.
• Communicate with sales team to ensure you’re meeting the needs for the order.
• Work with production team to ensure files are created for them to succeed.
• Keep a clean and efficient work environment both physically and digitally.
• Be able to cross train in a variety of tasks through the workflow based on order volume

Requirements

• High level of computer skills: Microsoft platform, Google platform, email, and chat
• Must be able to communicate electronically in a professional manner
• Good in person communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and be solutions oriented
• Highly detailed
• Strong understanding of the Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator)
• Ability to understand production workflow and systems
• Strong work ethic
• Have excellent attendance
• Be able to learn processes and production systems quickly

• Be able to follow standard operating procedures
• Be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs with or without assistance, if needed
