What you'll do
We're looking for a PR Specialist to strengthen Clara’s reputation and expand our media presence in Mexico and Colombia. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping public perception through consistent, impactful communication. Your work will directly support product launches, strategic partnerships, and C-level announcements.
Key responsibilities:
Build and manage strong relationships with journalists and media outlets across Mexico and Colombia.
Lead day-to-day media relations, including responding to inquiries and coordinating interviews.
Develop editorial content such as press releases, media alerts, and thought leadership articles.
Coordinate and support events including press briefings, media roundtables, and conferences.
Secure high-impact opportunities for Clara’s leadership, such as speaking engagements and bylined pieces.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, aligned messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor media coverage and track performance metrics to improve PR effectiveness.
Guide crisis communications and media training efforts as needed.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Must haves
Working proficiency in English and Spanish
Proven success executing PR campaigns with media traction
Strong relationships with local media and knowledge of the press landscape in Mexico and Colombia
Excellent writing skills with experience producing editorial content
Ability to manage C-level communications and sensitive announcements
Event coordination and media interview planning experience
Familiarity with media monitoring and performance analysis tools
Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills
Nice to haves
Experience in a PR agency, especially with corporate, technology, or fintech clients
Background working in a startup or high-growth company
Proficiency with AI tools to enhance communication workflows
Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn it

Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
