Position Summary: The Public Relations Junior Coordinator reports to the Director of PR & Communications and executes a wide variety of public relations initiatives that effectively promote the organization, executive team, corporate and franchise offices, agents, listings and new development projects to the company’s core audience of clients, prospective clients, agents, prospective agents, developers, vendors, and the community. 

What You'll do:

  • You will support a variety of strategic communications plans by owning media outreach and supporting company initiatives
  • Draft public relations materials including: fact sheets, meeting summaries and agendas, and press releases; aid in the development of op-ed and byline columns for executives and top agents
  • Help prepare timelines, reports, and other collateral using PR tools
  • Proactively monitor incoming press coverage for the company, including tracking upcoming placements
    • Research press opportunities and editorial calendars
  • Help manage meeting planning and scheduling for the senior PR team while managing media lists and other databases
  • Assist with administrative duties including taking messages, organizing files, and clipping press articles
  • Become familiar with local, national, international, and online media outlets and writers covering real estate and pertinent topics

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in English/public relations/communications 
  • This role is ideal for candidates with internship experience or personal interest in real estate, architecture, and design, though the ideal candidate will ideally have 1-3 years experience
  • A demonstrated interest in media
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and be a team player
  • Strong customer service and client management experience
  • Exceptional writing, research and organizational skills
  • Able to effectively work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Valid Drivers’ License 
  • Travel as agreed with manager
  • Option to work remotely or hybrid within office
  • If any after-hours work (nights and weekends) is required, time in lieu will be approved by manager

Compensation:

Base Salary - $40-60,000 USD
