Position Summary
At Samsung Marketing Department, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of the huge Samsung family. You will work closely with young, full of fun, and dynamic marketing team of 9 people. If you're good at organizing and enjoy solving problems, and if you have some PR knowledge and want to learn more and even more, this role is perfect for you. It is a lot of happening in our team, one thing is granted, you will never feel bored, and you will learn a lot!As junior PR specialist in our marketing team, you will be in charge of supporting the PR activities, projects, and processes, and you will be point of contact and coordinator between Czech marketing team and Slovak colleagues.
Role and Responsibilities
Materials, assets, and information needed for PR communication collection and distribution within the team and PR agencies
Media research, in collaboration with the PR agencies, media monitoring and reporting management
Participation on creative ideas and other plans within the PR communication
In collaboration with the PR agencies, project presentations preparation
In collaboration with the PR agencies, event management
Organizing and arranging cost-effective Business travels/Press trips journalists - including flight/train tickets, accommodation and activities – local and abroad
Administration and management of product samples for journalists & influencers
In collaboration with the Finance department, taking care of PR budget system allocation, administration, and reporting, creating purchase orders in the system
Close cooperation with Czech and Slovak teams
And overall support of Marketing Team functioning and management in Czechia and Slovakia
Skills and Qualifications
You are a junior professional with initial experience in the field of PR
Native Czech/Slovak and fluent English
Deadlines meet and greeter
An eye for detail, passion for the language
Skilled in project management or organizational skills
Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel & PPT
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Problem-solving approach
Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management is an advantage
