As a key technical member of the ERP project team, your mission is to ensure that the layout design, functional testing, and report building to meet the requirements of business and finance departments. You will translate user needs into stable and efficient system solutions through your professional technical skills and business understanding, providing core support from report perspective for the successful delivery of the project.
Data Modelling & Integration:
- Lead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 (including, but not limited to, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain modules).
- Design and maintain efficient, scalable semantic data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Integrate data from other sources (e.g., SQL Databases, Excel, SharePoint) to build a unified view for analytics.
Report Development & Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using Power BI Desktop.
- Utilize advanced DAX to create complex calculated measures, KPIs, and business logic.
- Ensure dashboard design is intuitive, visually appealing, and provides excellent user experience for various business audiences.
Business Collaboration & Analysis:
- Business Collaboration & Analysis:
- Proactively engage with business and finance departments to understand their challenges and analytical needs.
- Translate non-technical business problems into clear technical specifications and data solutions.
- Provide training and support to business and finance users to enhance data literacy across the organization.
Solution Management & Optimization:
- Manage Power BI Service workspaces, data gateways, refresh schedules, and security permissions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of reports and data models.
- Adhere to data governance best practices, ensuring data security and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, with a proven track record of end-to-end project delivery.
- Extensive, demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a primary data source, with a deep understanding of its data structure and business logic.
- Expert-level proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M) for creating complex calculations and performing data transformations.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake).
- Excellent data visualization and UI/UX design skills for creating clear and impactful reports.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous working experience in the manufacturing, engineering, or B2B industrial sector.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification (e.g., PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
- Understanding of the underlying database structure of D365 and basic SQL querying skills.
- Experience working in a multinational corporate environment.
