Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design and build user-friendly Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual elements.
- Data Modeling: Clean, shape, and model raw data using Power Query and data modeling best practices.
- DAX Calculations: Write Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for advanced aggregate, date, logical, and table calculations.
- Data Integration: Connect Power BI securely to various data sources like SQL databases, cloud services, and Excel.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.
- Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data flows, and dashboard
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and SQL.
- Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Design Sense: Strong grasp of data visualization principles, color theory, and clear data storytelling.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical users
