Here’s the Gist:
As an integration test engineer, you will play a key part in improving the yield of silicon carbide semiconductor power devices by automating and simplifying the testing process.  You will work with engineers and management from many teams to understand data gathered in testing.  You will work on software and hardware to improve automated test equipment, increase throughput, gather important data, and document and train others on improvements, resolution of issues, and updated processes and procedures.

The person in this role will work a Thursday through Monday schedule.

The Day-to-Day

  • Use C#, SQL, Visual Studios, etc. to build software applications to automate, simplify and improve testing tools and procedures. 
  • Maintain in good repair and in calibration production probers and testers in a cleanroom environment and document and train people on maintenance procedures
  • Use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot software, electrical and mechanical issues using systematic problem-solving techniques like 4C, 8D, 5 Why, etc.
  • Monitor and perform corrective action in response to control charts and present learnings to management and others
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement modifications to software, hardware, and processes to automate, increase efficiency, and simplify procedures

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Strong software, mechanical, and electrical aptitude
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and manage many competing projects
  • Availability and willingness to work a Thursday through Monday schedule to provide weekend engineering support.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$77,000.00 - $106,000.00
