Power Squared Sales Trainee (Sales Rotational Program)
Join the Hitachi Energy US Front End Sales Team early in your career and gain valuable exposure to various parts of a sales function. This program will rotate you to 3 different sales experiences in 18 months (6 months for each rotation) to give you a knowledge base that will continue to prove helpful throughout the rest of your career.

Responsibilities:
Part of the Marketing & Sales trainee program: Learn about the relevant business, offerings, service & product lines within the local sales unit.
Engage with Leaders, supervisors, and mentors: Develop your sales skills and knowledge of various sales management processes.
Experiential learning: Work on assigned projects/KPIs, focus on partnering with key stakeholders, and deliver on required tasks.

Account plan development: Contribute to and participate in the account plan development; understand local account strategy and sales tactics for alignment with customer requirements for mid and long-term strategy.
Maintain contacts: Work closely with the local account manager/director to maintain contacts and learn to build the player map in Salesforce.
Solution portfolio: Gain a broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy’s solutions and portfolio including digital, software, & services.
Segments and Channels: Understand the concept of segments and channels as applied in Hitachi Energy businesses in the local market.
Marketing: understand local marketing plans and actively participate in supporting the local team as needed
Build and maintain relationships: Establishing connections with new clients and nurturing existing ones within the local unit
Identify and research local sales leads; support in maintaining Salesforce pipeline, customer visit reports, understand regional / local market trends.
Engage with leads: Communicating with potential customers (internal and external) through calls, emails, or visits, often across different time zones.
Work towards sales KPIs as assigned by Leadership; working jointly with sales teams striving to meet or exceed budget targets for country.
Document sales activities: Keeping records of sales and order details, often using CRM systems like Salesforce and PowerBI.
Participate in conferences and expos; representing Hitachi Energy in front of customers and colleagues
Additional projects as assigned by the program manager
Your background:
Bachelor’s Degree (any degree focus), preference on Engineering
Less than 2 years of working experience post-graduation
Technical selling aptitude
Strong drive to achieve targets
Fantastic communication and organization skills
Capability to build strong relationships
