MET Energy Trading Bulgaria EAD (METBG) was established in 2017 to represent MET Group in South Eastern European natural gas and energy markets. METBG focuses on the purchase and sale of electricity and natural gas to retail and wholesale customers in South Eastern Europe, through cross-border transactions and close corporation with other MET subsidiaries in the region.
Now, we are looking for a "Power Portfolio Specialist" to join our MET Bulgaria team.
Job Description- Communicate with internal and external parties, TSOs, DSOs and public authorities across the Balkans
- Monitoring of production/consumption data
- Forecasting and optimization of the current portfolio
- Collaborate with IT personnel to maintain and improve relevant tools
- Prepare settlements and statements on weekly, monthly and yearly basis
- Build models to track market fundamentals and regularly benchmark against actualizations
- Contract management
- Collaborate closely with accounting regarding respective invoices
- Participation in capacity auctions
- Deal booking and validation in internal management system
- Actively collaborate with our HQ Trading/Operations Desk based in Switzerland
- Bachelor's degree
- Min. 1-3 years of experience preferably in the energy sector
- Understanding of Bulgaria power market regulations
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to manage complexity
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured and strategic approach
- Structured, solution orientated and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Good command of Microsoft Office programs
- Fluent in English
