Position Summary
The Power BI Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and managing advanced business intelligence dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI. This role partners with stakeholders across the organization to transform complex data sets into actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making and enhanced operational performance. The Power BI Lead oversees the entire lifecycle of BI projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, and ensures data accuracy, accessibility, and visual impact in all deliverables.What will your job entail?
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics, trends, and business insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements, define objectives, and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.
- Design and optimize data models, integrating data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and reliability in reporting and analytics.
- Perform advanced data analysis, including predictive modeling, trend analysis, and data mining, to support business objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Train and mentor team members and business users in Power BI best practices, fostering data literacy and self-service analytics.
- Stay current with Power BI updates, BI industry trends, and emerging technologies to continually improve BI capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and support data quality initiatives across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying Power BI dashboards and reports in a business environment.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL, Excel, cloud platforms, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience leading BI projects or teams is preferred.
- Power BI certification or equivalent is a plus.

The target salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually.The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
