We foster a culture of mutual respect, autonomy, and accountability, where your voice matters and your growth is supported. From structured career paths and paid professional development to access to industry events, we’re committed to your success.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and build Power BI semantic models, including tables, relationships, measures, and DAX calculations
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports aligned to standardized business reporting requirements
  • Ensure reporting outputs are consistent, reusable, and scalable, minimizing ad hoc report development
  • Optimize report performance, data refresh strategies, and overall usability
  • Collaborate with QA teams and business stakeholders to support validation and UAT processes
  • Enable self-service reporting through well-designed, governed datasets and semantic models
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure alignment between reporting and upstream data structures

Work under Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. Provide daily status and feedback on the work performed. Assist in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of necessary data.  Provide accurate explanations of any written code. Communicate with internal and external personnel in English or Spanish to discuss requirements and specifications, provide status updates, and explain the work performed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including semantic models, complex DAX calculations, and enterprise-level report development
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, including star schema design, relationships, performance optimization, and aggregations
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, standardized reporting solutions
  • Experience designing reusable datasets and semantic layers to support self-service BI
  • Strong experience with report performance tuning, refresh optimization, and usability best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end report development lifecycle, including stakeholder communication and UAT support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of upstream data processes (e.g., Python, ETL/ELT concepts) to effectively collaborate with data engineers
  • Experience in standardizing reporting frameworks across teams or departments
  • Familiarity with data governance, certification of datasets, and BI best practices
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence reporting strategy and design decisions
