Development on Power BI projects, designing and delivering suitable solutions in line with customer business needs and expectations.
Building Analysis Services reporting models.
Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
Able to implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
Work with the leadership team to identify, design and implement the appropriate reporting user experience for the clients, ensuring adherence to security standards as well as usability and scalability best practices.
Work closely with the Quality team to provide support for testing, troubleshooting and documentation.
Proactive contribution towards upgradation, enhancement and maintenance of internal tools which help in overall project management, automation of different processes and ensure quality checks & balances.
Ensure agility & resilience while adapting to teamwork environments, as this changes project to project.
Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of data assets.
Requirements
Minimum 0-12 months of experience of developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Experience of connecting to multiple data sources and building datasets in Power BI.
Experience of writing SQL queries
Expertise in using advanced level calculations on the data set.
Proficient in making DAX queries in the Power BI desktop.
Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc
Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of management
Experience of working with MIS/ WFM Systems is preferred.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in an agile way on data projects.
Ability to work independently on projects as well as collaborate effectively with client and internal teams.
