La Section de droit civil s’appuie sur une longue tradition d’enseignement et de recherche juridiques innovatrice, influente et ouverte sur le monde. Ses professeures et professeurs bénéficient de la position stratégique de la Section au sein de l’Université d’Ottawa et de la capitale du Canada, un lieu d’échange et de rencontre entre différentes traditions juridiques, dont au premier chef, le droit civil, mais également la common law, ainsi que plusieurs ordres juridiques autochtones.


La Section de droit civil de l’Université d’Ottawa sollicite des candidatures pour un poste de professeure adjointe ou de professeur adjoint menant à la permanence en droit public.


Fonctions :  

  • Enseignement
  • Offrir un enseignement de haute qualité à des étudiantes et des étudiants à tous les cycles d’études.
  • Recherche
  • Maintenir des activités de recherche et de publication dans le domaine du droit du droit public.
  • Supervision aux études supérieures
    • Encadrer des étudiants aux cycles supérieures dans le champ du droit public ainsi que d’autres domaines connexes.
  • Service académique et communautaire
    • Assumer les responsabilités administratives et de service convenus avec la Section et la doyenne;
    • Participer activement aux activités de la Section de droit civil;
    • Contribuer à la vie communautaire de l’Université.

Modalités : Nouveau poste menant à la permanence.


Exigences préalables :  

•       La personne recherchée est titulaire d’un doctorat en droit ou dans une discipline connexe, ou son équivalent. Les personnes dont les études doctorales sont avancées seront également considérées.

•       La capacité d’enseigner et de faire de la recherche en français.

•       Outre le dossier de publications, les financements de recherche obtenus et le talent pour un enseignement de haute qualité, pourront être prises en considération l’excellence du dossier académique et la capacité de contribuer à la vie universitaire.


Salaire : Selon la convention collective en vigueur. Les salaires sont concurrentiels et offerts selon la qualification et l’expérience. Le salaire de base des professeures adjointes et des professeurs adjoints est 99 377$ (selon l’échelle salariale en vigueur au 1er mai 2025).
