The Clearing Post-Trade Services and Risk team operates within CME Group’s Clearing House and oversees daily trade processing for futures/options and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, ensuring the timely clearing of customer transactions and performing key risk management functions. The Clearing House guarantees its member firms meet their financial obligations for all open positions, as well as offering various clearing services to drive efficiencies for CME Group’s customers.
The Post-Trade Services and Risk Analyst will be working on two new initiatives with CME Group. The analyst will be monitoring risk and systems for our new Event Contracts suite over the weekend and assisting in the launch of our new US Treasury and Repo clearing service during the week.. Responsibilities will include strategic planning and design of clearing systems, operational and risk management, development of operational risk governance documents, and engaging internal stakeholders and external market participants.

What you'll do:
- Provide support to clearing member firms, customers and business partners on CME Group’s product offering and clearing systems
- Mitigate customer impactful events through escalation to management and troubleshoot with technology teams to deliver fixes in a timely manner within SLAs
- Drive improvements in risk management practices and contribute to the Clearing House’s operational risk framework
- Work globally with teammates on new initiatives and projects
What you'll need:
- MBA/MS/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 1-2 years prior work experience with listed derivatives, Treasury Securities, Repo markets, or OTC products at a clearing house, FCM, or trading firm
- Securities clearing and Operational Risk management experience preferred
- Strong experience in Excel (or Google Sheets) including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires working in morning shift including Sat and Sun.
