Job Summary:
As a Portfolio Analyst within our Home Lending Capital Markets team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be at the forefront of managing our Mortgage Servicing Rights portfolio valuation and risk. You will have the opportunity to develop and back-test models, as well as create and execute tools to support our reporting requirements. This role offers you the chance to collaborate with us in enhancing model accuracy and reliability, and to present your findings to senior management and stakeholders. Job responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, and implement prepayment, credit, and home price models to support MSR valuations
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc data processing, analysis, and reporting on prepayment, home price, and credit metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance model accuracy and reliability
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for model methodologies and processes
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, or a related quantitative field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Professional Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (Visual Basic) and Power point
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and visualization
• Proficient understanding of fixed income analytics and financial concepts
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, inquisitive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities and execution timelines
• Demonstrated ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly
