  • Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective

The Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager is responsible for working with multiple lenders to manage the business and commercial loan portfolio to ensure optimal performance, risk management, and alignment with strategic financial goals. This role plays a critical part in managing asset allocation, assisting with production efforts, and supporting stakeholders within the commercial lending team.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate collection of required documents from borrowers and actively manage communication between business clients and commercial loan officers.
  • Monitor maturing loans, communicate requirements to borrowers, compile financial packets, and coordinate renewing loan structures with credit analysts.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare asset quality reviews, as needed.
  • Prepare renewals, document exceptions, and covenant ticklers.
  • Manage timely resolution of member financial reporting, and outstanding ticklers.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the respective commercial lender.
  • Coordinate with credit, legal, and loan operations on closings and documentation.

Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate requirements with borrowers, loan administration staff, financial analysts, and commercial loan officers.
  • Please ensure these are truly required or they should be placed in the preferred section.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or at least five years' experience in a commercial production or commercial specialist role in a financial institution.    
  • Strong understanding of loan documents, business entity structure, loan underwriting, and asset/liability management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, risk analysis, and portfolio management software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
  • Working knowledge of state and federal guidelines impacting business and commercial lending.
  • Familiarity with accounting principals impacting asset and liability management, interest accrual, and troubled assets.
  • Experience managing borrowing bases, monitoring equipment and machinery, and accounts receivables lending.
Work Environment

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full time/40 hours

Compensation Information

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $95,796.75 and $119,745.94, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation earned may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, performance and production. 

Anticipated Application Window:
