As Portfolio Manager in our Strategy & Portfolio Management team, your overall responsibility is to ensure and optimize our portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives. You will work within our Jabra Enterprise division for our dedicated office audio and video solutions marketed to some of the largest organizations in the world. As a hybrid role with an office based at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark you will join the Strategy & Portfolio Management team reporting to Director, Steffen Rye Holst.
As part of the Planning & Performance department, within our Enterprise division, you are part of a global, diverse team with members from various nationalities and locations across the world. We embrace personal and cultural differences. Our daily communication language is English.
You will have a broad range of responsibilities ranging from strategic-, to more operational assignments together with your team and with your dedicated strategic stakeholders across the organization.
Key responsibilities in the role:

Facilitate the initial stages of our product development process to support clarity and maturity in our priorities.

Collaborate with the Headsets, Video, and Software & Services business units and R&D development centers to ensure smooth transitions of opportunities from the portfolio priorities in our opportunity backlog to the concepting and development phases.

Foster alignment between relevant business processes, strategies, product roadmap, and key stakeholders.

Ensure roadmap communication internally and continuously improve transparency and understanding of the roadmaps, portfolio and related business impact across all layers of the organization.

Take ownership and develop key portfolio performance tools to improve decision-making and enable impact assessments and scenario planning.
To succeed in the role, we’re looking for the following:

A higher educational background within business management, administration, engineering, operations, or a related field of study
-
Relevant experience with complex product portfolios comprising of multiple products and combining both hardware and software solutions from a similar industry segment as the GN Group – e.g. within electronics, software, audio/DSP devices and hearing instruments – or from management consulting.
-
Proven project- and stakeholder management abilities and able to work in a cross functional environment - by which you can work across functions (R&D, Product, Commercial etc.) and disciplines - at all organizational levels – incl. engaging with senior management.

Experience within areas of developing and executing strategies and implementations of plans, incl. designing, presenting and facilitating business cases, business models and cost structures, and innovation management.

Proficient in analysis and skilled at resolving complex issues

The ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English and that you can work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, as well as both have knowledge and interest in technical and business issues.

The ability and will to establish relations and contribute to a social and collaborative work environment where successes are shared, and challenges are openly discussed.

Knowledge of and experience working with SAFe development can be useful, but training will be provided.
