As a Category Growth Lead, you manage a team of three who ensure that customer plans are developed and executed - via our strategies and tactics for growth - to deliver our annual target.
Your key skills are people management and an understanding of the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers. An analytical mind and a growth mindset are crucial for success in this role.
You will:
- Support with the development of annual and ad hoc customer plans and subsequent monitoring of them
- Look for growth opportunities relating to e.g. (but not limited to!) optimised listings, distribution and white space channels, customers or categories
- Be an integral part of our volume and revenue forecasting process, providing drivers to senior management on performance vs our budget. This includes attending customer forecast meetings to understand customer dynamics and identify opportunities and risks vs the plan
- Provide customer, channel and trade recommendations in the launch of new products
- Prepare customer solutions (e.g. tailor-made activations, events) in a co-operation with the Trade Activation team and Marketing
- Support Revenue Growth Manager with promotional post evaluations in partnership with Finance and Marketing
- Support Key Account Managers by providing regular reporting including performance tracking - and recommending and discussing with them opportunities for improvement
- Monitor revenue realization of any cost price increases
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- Strong analytical skills - could be from Finance or other analytical field
- Commercial understanding from at least a few years of experience, for instance within FMCG or similar
- A growth mindset! An ability to see opportunities instead of limitations and think outside the box - a can-do attitude
- Ability to reduce complexity using an analytical, disciplined and collaborative approach - key in a large, international organisation
- Ability to synthesize multiple data points into a holistic position - important in e.g. forecasting
- Knowledge about the local market and language is an advantage
- International experience - could be from working or living abroad
- A positive view of life and extroversion will be beneficial in managing internal and external stakeholders, incl. customers
