Portfolio Analyst (CISO Strategy & Operating Office Analyst)
London – Hybrid
6 Month Fixed Term Contract
DLG is evolving. Across every part of our business, teams are embracing new opportunities and putting customers at the heart of everything they do. Whether you're already part of DLG or thinking about joining us, you'll have the chance not only to be recognised for your skills, but also to build on them and be empowered to do your very best.
We’re looking for someone to join our Chief Information Security Office — someone who thrives on organization, enjoys bridging the gap between strategy and delivery, and can help us navigate a complex change portfolio.
In this role, you aren’t just tracking tasks; you are the engine room of the CISO function. You will support the planning of our 2026 Change Portfolio, ensuring our roadmaps align with group priorities. You will be the point of connection between delivery teams, department heads, and external partners like Aviva, ensuring we have the right resources at the right time to keep our business secure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Portfolio Planning & Governance: Support the 2026 change roadmap, helping to govern when projects are mobilised and ensuring they align with DLG’s overarching security strategy.
Resource Coordination: Actively engage with delivery teams to manage resource capacity, identifying what is required to kick-start projects and identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
Financial & Operational Support: Work closely with our Finance and Reporting lead to support operational budgets, purchase orders, and financial reporting across the CISO function.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Department Heads and teams across DLG and Aviva to ensure strategic milestones are met and inter-dependencies are managed.
Performance Insight: Support the development of automated metrics and real-time compliance dashboards to provide a clear view of risk reduction and portfolio health.
Driving a Secure Culture: Assist in delivering training and awareness activities that promote a resilient culture across the wider DLG community.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a motivated self-starter who understands that effective change requires both strong governance and great people skills. We are looking for a proactive "people person" who is happy to take control of a process while collaborating across different technical and non-technical teams.
Core Requirements:
Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage effective relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Organizational Agility: Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise responsibilities to meet fast-moving business needs.
Technical Literacy: Strong competence in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint.
Communication: Ability to communicate and present concisely, tailoring your message for everyone from project teams to senior management.
Collaborative Mindset: A team player who can also work independently to drive quality and continuous improvement.
Desirable Experience:
Experience within Financial Services or an Information Security environment.
Familiarity with Project Management or Financial Management tools.
Background in PSO, PMO, or Resource Management within a tech-heavy environment.
Ready to help us turn strategy into action? Apply now and help us protect our customers by shaping the future of CISO operations.
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office (all locations considered)
