We’re hiring a product lead for our Polk Audience application products focused on automotive dealership and retail marketing experiences. This role owns how automotive retailers and their partners discover, understand, package, and activate audiences—turning complex automotive data signals into clear strategies and ready-to-use audience packages.

A core component of this role is developing Generative AI-powered capabilities that help users quickly identify addressable markets and uncover high-value marketing opportunities within an evolving audience taxonomy

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap (Audience Applications)

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and day-to-day execution for audience application products serving dealerships, dealer groups, OEM retail teams, and automotive retail marketers.
  • Define end-to-end workflows for users to explore audiences, size opportunities, build/choose packages, and take action
  • Partner with stakeholders across sales, customer success, data science, and engineering to align priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.

Automotive Audience Strategy & Packaging

  • Build and evolve automotive audience strategies and packages tailored to dealership/retail use cases, available through an ecommerce platform
  • Define and maintain a scalable audience taxonomy and packaging framework (naming conventions, inclusion logic, guardrails, tiering, refresh cadence).
  • Collaborate with data science to ensure audiences are performant, explainable, and measurable, and that packaging choices map to real-world dealer objectives and budgets.
  • Create enablement artifacts (internal and customer-facing) that clarify what each package is for, when to use it, and what “good” performance looks like.
  • Establish guardrails for responsible AI and privacy-safe output in partnership with legal/privacy and security teams.
  • Run user research with dealerships/retail marketers and translate insights into product improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, data science, design, privacy/legal, product marketing, and customer-facing teams.
  • Coordinate releases, stakeholder updates, and roadmap communication; manage tradeoffs across speed, quality, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of product management experience in martech/adtech, data products, analytics platforms, or audience/segmentation tools.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail/dealership marketing use cases (in-market targeting, conquest, retention/service, lifecycle marketing).
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into simple, decision-oriented user experiences and product packaging.
  • Experience delivering AI/ML-powered product features (recommendations, insights, natural-language interfaces, decision-support tools).
  • Strong communication skills—able to align diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building self-service planning tools (audience builders, campaign planners, market sizing, opportunity scoring).
  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices (evaluation, hallucination mitigation, policy controls, human-in-the-loop design).
  • Exposure to dealer advertising workflows and platforms (agency processes, co-op constraints, local market planning, CRM/marketing automation integrations).
