Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
XP Power is looking for an efficient, flexible, meticulous, self-motivated and self-starter HR assistant who will provide support in managing the recruitment process within the company, including identifying workforce needs, sourcing candidates through various channels, scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating the selection process, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, all while building a strong employer brand and aligning with company recruitment strategies. S/he will also be providing support on the day-to-day operations of a human resources (HR) department and variety of tasks, including: Recruitment and HR policies review, training, benefits administration, payroll assistance, performance management, and act as a liaison between employees and the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Build and report on hiring plans as necessary
•Create job description and publish job ads in various portals/digital platforms
•Network with potential hires through professional groups on digital platforms and through events
•Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees and to craft compelling job descriptions
•Candidate sourcing: Actively search for qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other recruitment channels.
•Screening applications: Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates who meet job requirements.
•Interviewing candidates: Conduct online and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
•Candidate evaluation: Create shortlists of qualified candidates and present them to hiring managers for further consideration.
•Recruitment strategy development: Participate in developing and implementing overall recruitment plans aligned with company goals.
•Relationship building: Foster strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
•Offer negotiation: Negotiate job offers with selected candidates including salary and benefits packages.
•Onboarding support: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires ensuring positive employee experience and building strong employer brand.
•Employee relations: Support employees and resolve issues
•Compensation and benefits: provide assistance in administering pay, benefits, and leaves
•Policies: provide assistance in reviewing and enforcing company policies and procedures
•Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with Philippine national and labor laws & regulations
•Employee retention: Develop and implement strategies to reduce turnover
•Performance management: Implement performance management process
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
•At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the same role
•Experienced with end-to-end recruitment process through various channels
•Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
•Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
•Strong knowledge and understanding of recruitment & HR methodologies and best practices
•Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
•Knowledge of Philippine labor laws
•Proven ability to influence and build relationship with employees and stakeholders
•Proficiency in using various platforms for recruitment and Familiarity with digital HR platforms.
•Must be amenable to report onsite in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
