The Role

Description

The PMO Director for Digital Transformation is responsible for leading the Project Management Office, ensuring the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital technologies, project management methodologies, and a proven ability to drive organizational change.

  • Develop and implement the PMO strategy to align with the organization's digital transformation goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
  • Established and maintained project management methodologies, standards, and best practices tailored for digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization regarding project status and changes.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to optimize ROI on digital initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on project performance using KPIs and metrics specific to digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and trends (e.g., Cloud Computing, IoT, AI, Data Analytics).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, P3O, Agile certifications) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within digital transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale digital initiatives across various industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in the face of change.
  • Native Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency.
