The role As a Principal Professional Services Consultant you will lead the technical design and implementation of custom location intelligence solutions. With a customer-centric focus, you’ll scope, design, and execute projects that address client needs and business objectives. You will closely partner with the Sales and Pre-sales team. Combining technical expertise with client engagement, you’ll ensure solutions are aligned with customer goals and delivered to the highest standard. Working autonomously within a consistent global operating model, you’ll also know when to escalate critical issues to support project success.

Key responsibilities 

• Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Scope and design end-to-end location intelligence solutions tailored to customer needs, integrating HERE products and services.
• Drive project execution, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to guide clients through solution adoption.
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Solution Architects, Solution Engineers, Product) to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation.
• Produce essential project documentation, including solution design documents, project proposals, and implementation plans

You bring strong technical expertise and sharp business insight, with a deep commitment to understanding and aligning with client needs to deliver impactful, tailored solutions that drive real value. Known for building trust and fostering long-term partnerships, you approach every engagement with collaboration and care. Fluent in both English and Arabic, you ensure each interaction strengthens the client relationship, supporting their success with a customer-centric mindset. 

• 5+ years of experience in geospatial technologies (GIS, navigation systems, location-based services) with proven project implementation success. 

• Solid experience in customer engagement, requirements gathering, and delivering technical solutions within a consulting or professional services setting. 

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Java, Scala). 

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including Agile, DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, along with database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis) and big data framework experience. 

• Experience with Big Data frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, etc.) is a plus 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and strong familiarity with HERE products or similar location intelligence platforms.
