This team requests EST hours and we prefer candidates able to work onsite from our Product Development Center in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities
Responsible to author the Program Direction Letter (PDL) - including some direct authoring in our Product Definition and Offering (PDO) tool. SME for program assumptions and content. Track approved assumption changes, manage the PDL change log and determine change drivers and corrections. Conduct PDL Change Verification process for all PDL changes ensuring changes are verified by stakeholders. Interface with Marketing, PMT Leaders, D&R engineers and Feature System engineers to track and resolve issues. Work closely with MP&L codification to ensure PDL accuracy. Participate indecision forums to monitor changes that could affect the PDL. Support the development of business cases to improve revenue and program profitability. Lead Marketing Interface Meeting to confirm overall program content and assumptions.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to Program Management and lead in authorship of the Program PDL (Program direction Letter). You will manage and control the document that feeds the ordering and manufacturing systems - Ford can't build vehicles without the PDL! Position may be combination of Remote and On-Site work schedules.
Responsibilities Include:
- Authoring cross-MY PDL's for current and future Bronco program
- Coordinate cross functional meetings to gain alignment on PDL changes
- Regularly work with engineering, C&M, Marketing, NM's, TVM, program, etc.
- Work through coding with PDO and SOE teams to ensure PDL accuracy
- Organize requests and coordinate timing to implement changes
Qualifications
NECESSARY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Passion for delivering the Bronco brand
- Ability to drive and consolidate cross-functional input to drive issues to closure
- Knowledge of PM workstreams, critical thinking and organizational skills
- Resiliency, as the position works regularly with multiple stakeholders
- Actively participate in Care for Each Other Initiatives and lead by example
- Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communications
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- BS Degree, Preferred MBA / MS
- 5+ years experience in Program Managment
- Knowledge of PDL & WERS
