As a PM process expert at DEME you are responsible for developing and implementing Project Management Methods, Procedures and Processes across the organization through all project phases, from tender to project closing. For this you will need to closely collaborate with other process owners and with the entire community of tender and project managers. You will be part of the project management office team that has as mission to continuously improve the PM capability at the company. Your responsibilities

Develop and implement the PM processes, manuals and procedures, across all project phases and knowledge areas.

Develop and maintain the PM tools such as templates, checklists, dashboards and reports, in collaboration with the PM system owners.

Provide training and coaching to the tender and project managers and other users of the PMS on the processes and tools.

Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the PMS, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback mechanisms.

Research best practices in project management processes and how they can be beneficial for DEME (PMBOK is used as a basis).

Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the PM processes, based on best practices and lessons learned.

Coordinate or participate in project reviews to identify improvements for the PM process implementation.

Act as the single point of contact and the subject matter expert for the PMS within DEME and with external parties, such as clients, auditors and partners.
Your profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, project management or a related field.

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction sector.

Proven knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, standards and tools, such as PMBOK, etc.

PMP certified is beneficial.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
