Skills Required
- Experience designing or developing security across multiple areas such as computer architecture, OS, virtualization, cryptography, Secure Boot, TEE, hardware security, DRM, authentication and key management
- Practical knowledge or experience with attack mitigations (ASLR, Control Flow Integrity, privilege separation, sandboxing, memory protection) including tradeoffs
- Ability to understand system-wide threat models and articulate security requirements, design decisions, risks, and trade-offs
- Experience driving architecture design and technical decisions across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to read technical materials in English and willingness to communicate with global teams
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1
- Experience with game consoles, smartphones, PCs, embedded devices, or SoC security design
- Knowledge or experience with Root of Trust, Anti-rollback, Tamper Resistance, Secure Boot implementation
- Low-level software experience (hypervisor, kernel, TEE) and related development knowledge
- Experience designing security using OS, compiler, runtime, CPU architecture and memory management
- Experience with content protection, license/key management, device authentication, secure storage
- Experience in attacker-perspective analysis: vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing, security reviews
- Experience designing cross-layer security architectures spanning hardware and software
- Experience leading security architecture and consensus building for large-scale or long-lived products
