Platform Technical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working across multiple platforms and possess strong expertise in executing and scripting Terraform deployments. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Management: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure across various platforms (Informatica, cognos, Azure EDL).
• Terraform Scripting and Deployment: Develop, execute, and manage Terraform scripts to automate the deployment of infrastructure resources.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Promote and implement IaC practices to ensure efficient and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for infrastructure-related issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that infrastructure solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with Terraform for scripting and deploying infrastructure.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as  Azure.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms , Azure Administrator, etc.).
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
