The Digital Initiatives Team is seeking a Senior Platform Technical Analyst to join our Segment Tech function at MBPS. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The ideal candidate will have proven experience administering AEM within an AWS environment and a strong understanding of platform operations, user management, and system optimization. This role involves maintaining and scaling our existing AEM infrastructure, supporting asset and content delivery, managing dispatcher configurations, and ensuring platform performance and security. Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of AEM environments (Author, Publisher, Dispatcher).
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support during deployments, upgrades, and testing cycles.
  • Collaborate with vendor-managed services and internal infrastructure teams for SSL certificate renewals, patching, and system upgrades.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and preventive action planning.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as package cleanups, dispatcher cache purging, and log rotation.
  • Enforce deployment governance policies aligned with enterprise change management frameworks.
  • Review deployment requests for completeness, technical accuracy, and compliance with standards.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline platform operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop custom monitoring scripts and dashboards using tools like PowerShell, shell, curl, and third-party platforms (e.g., Splunk, New Relic).
  • Track KPIs and deployment metrics to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Serve as a liaison between application teams, release engineering, and platform support to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 7–10 years in platform engineering, system administration, or enterprise application support.
  • Specific Experience: Proven experience managing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments, including Author, Publisher, and Dispatcher components.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of AEM platform architecture, dispatcher configurations, package management, and SSL lifecycle.
    • Proficiency in automation and scripting (Power Automate, Bash, PowerShell, curl).
    • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or Groovy for advanced automation.
    • Experience with enterprise change management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira).
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, Datadog).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Licenses: Not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and implementing multi-tool automation frameworks.
