Project logistics is a specialized sector of the logistics industry, requiring an integrated approach to the global orchestration of material flow, order management, and shipment execution from multiple origins to a defined site location. This includes the transportation of regular, out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo and other sensitive items across various transport modes (Ocean, Air, and Land) to ensure delivery in full, on time, and in the correct sequence as per the customer’s project plan and schedule.

We excel in project transport solution design, special cargo transportation, specialized transport asset management, and comprehensive project management services.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Product Owner to join our global team. This role will be responsible making MPL’s Cargowise One instance to meet the requirements from the MPL Platform Product Owner, that meet the overall requirements and strategy for MPL. Work with important stakeholders reporting to the Platform Product owner of MPL, to establishing designing and improving our Platform to make sure standards are meet, and continuously improves processes and error tracing. Making sure we meet business controls requirements. Project management involving and following up with stakeholders to make sure integrations and connections to other system as are setup and running at all times and meeting the deadlines.

Key responsibilities 

• Identify opportunities and establish Cargowise and other platforms according to policies and process changes across the MPL organization to ensure global standardization.
• With Head PPO simplify and structure execution by effective task management tools

• Support stakeholders to Translate policies into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training plans for global operations teams.

• EDI/API setup to/from Cargowise to other Maersk systems.
• Support PPO, FPO and BPO on project alignment and targets.
• Be responsible of own projects and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels, including full project reporting.
• Discuss process technical solutions and options with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Any Other Duties as assigned by Direct Leader as needed to meet the business needs.

Required experience and skills

• Supply Chain domain knowledge
• Work with senior management and peers to develop practices which lead to the highest quality products and contribute transformation change within the cloud
• Knowledge of Design led Product development practices. 
• Good knowledge of any Cloud eco system Azure, AWS, GCP or Cloud Foundry

• Experience building large scale Customer facing products improving experience and improving execution efficiency. 

• Exposure to agile methodology and proven ability to technically lead a team of engineers across geographies.
• Experience and understanding around Data Quality, Data Governance on Azure Cloud ecosystem.
• Know how around technical architecture, including metadata, Rest API Integrations, Data API and Solution design of NoSQL and File systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and direction including design and technical mentorship to cross functional team(s) 
• Collaborate with Lead Architect and engineering teams to prevent overlapping work and coordinate on interoperability requirements.
• Collaborate with Maersk Design system for best practices.
• Understand and able to solve canonical models, align across various product teams and get the common objects defined, responsible for plan and delivery.
• Work with product engineering teams across GDA and Platforms to ensure a consistent software ecosystem

• Cargowise One knowledge is an advantage.
• English language well written and spoken.
