This includes the initial selection of platforms based on organizational needs and goals, followed by negotiating and managing contracts to secure favorable terms. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration and usage across teams, as well as continuous monitoring of platform performance to address any issues promptly. Throughout the lifecycle, platform management is responsible for assessing when a platform becomes obsolete or is surpassed by newer technology, guiding the transition to more advanced solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
