Job Summary
The Platform Integration and Installation Specialist supports submarine and Navy platform software and networked system installation efforts. This role ensures technical compliance, system functionality, and installation readiness across surface and sub-surface environments.
Responsibilities and Duties
Selected candidates will perform and support submarine software installations and networked system integration, assist with shipboard installation planning, execution, and troubleshooting, validate installations against technical baselines and operational requirements, and provide technical expertise across network infrastructure and virtualization systems.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
(Required) Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with installations of networked systems on surface and sub-surface navy platforms. Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
(Desired) Experience in RHEL, Windows Server, Windows Client, PowerShell, DoD PKI, VMWare, Ansible, Cisco Network Hardware, Cisco Virtual Appliances, NETSEC, VEEAM, Aruba and Cloud computing. Experience migrating Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and User Data.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline (Preferred)
